Weller Emmons

Weller Emmons is the Director of Strategic Planning at Shore Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Weller is responsible for helping the SCP portfolio companies to architect strategies for growth and value creation by facilitating strategic dialogue, identifying innovation opportunities, developing points of differentiation, and gaining alignment of management and the Board of Directors on the company’s key strategic objectives.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Weller served as Chief of Staff within Commercial and Counterparty Credit Risk at Capital One, where he supported a 180-person organization and led strategic planning. Weller also served as VP of Operations at Mployer Advisor, where he helped scale the venture-backed healthcare technology company through rapid growth. Prior positions include Strategy Consultant roles at Knowledge Capital Group and HCA Healthcare, where he advised on enterprise initiatives across multi-hospital portfolios.

 

Weller earned his M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and his B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Weller is a board member at The Educators’ Cooperative, a Nashville-based non-profit with a mission to grow a professional collaborative network for educators to collaborate between public, private, and charter sectors.
