Tim Thompson

Tim Thompson is an AI Senior Associate at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1–10 million of EBITDA. Tim’s responsibilities include identifying and implementing AI opportunities across Shore’s portfolio of 60+ companies, partnering directly with portfolio company leadership to drive measurable improvements in cost, revenue, and operational performance through applied AI.

 

Tim brings five years of management consulting experience from Accenture’s Data & AI practice, where he served as a Business Technology Consultant focused on retail and consumer goods clients. During his tenure, Tim was dedicated to a leading global QSR (Fortune 100) across multiple high-impact programs, earning an Edge Computing Innovation Award in 2023. His work spanned the design and delivery of a global BI reporting platform, a product mix MDM solution coordinated across 24 teams, and a data reconciliation tool that improved customer data quality scores to 99.9%, retaining $1 million annually. He also developed the FY24 Three-Year Data & Analytics Strategic Vision, helping shape a $100 million technology investment roadmap for the client’s CIO.

 

Tim joined Shore Capital Partners in November 2025 as a member of the Shore AI Team, where he applies his consulting background and AI expertise to accelerate value creation across the portfolio.

 

Tim received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analytics from the University of Notre Dame in 2020.
