Bio
Scott McReynolds is an Executive Partner at Shore Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. He supports investment strategy, M&A, integrations, operational excellence, and portfolio growth across Shore’s Industrial Fund. He also serves on the Board of Directors of ONDEX.
Scott is a veteran e-commerce automation executive, mission-driven entrepreneur, and conscious leader with over 30 years of experience in e-commerce and distribution.
Scott was one of the three founders of Material Handling Systems (MHS) and ultimately served as CEO. MHS became the North American leader in parcel distribution automation, serving customers such as UPS, FedEx, and Amazon.
In 2017, Scott played a pivotal role in MHS’s acquisition by Thomas H. Lee Private Equity (THL). MHS quickly became a global leader in parcel and distribution automation through nine acquisitions over three years, expanding its operational footprint and strategic capabilities. In mid 2022, MHS acquired FORTNA to become one of the top 10 global leaders in e-commerce automation under the FORTNA brand.
Scott recently founded IGLiR, an innovative platform designed to inspire young minds and businesses. Envisioning the possible is a powerful motivator for setting and achieving goals that may have seemed unimaginable.
Scott received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville. Through his family foundation, he and his family enjoy working with non-profit organizations that better our communities and the people in them.
