Ryan Resch

Ryan Resch is a Principal, Operations in the Office of the CEO at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1–10 million of EBITDA. Ryan leads firmwide initiatives focused on improving systems, aligning resources, and turning strategy into execution that drives growth across people, process, and technology.

 

Before joining Shore, Ryan spent nearly a decade with the Phoenix Suns, rising from intern to Assistant General Manager / Vice President of Basketball Operations. In his time with the NBA franchise, he led roster strategy, data science, scouting, health and performance, player services, and daily operations.

 

As Chief of Staff to the 2021 NBA Executive of the Year, Ryan supported the front office through a period of complete transformation. During his tenure, the Suns reached the NBA Finals, set a franchise-record 64 wins, and posted the league’s best overall record from 2020 to 2024.
