Matthew Stry

Matthew is a Manager at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Matthew’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Matthew was a manager at KPMG in Chicago within the Deal Advisory practice. Matthew focused on delivering complex accounting and financial reporting solutions for public and private clients. In this role, he bridged technical accounting expertise with strategic business insight, helping organizations navigate transactions, regulatory changes, and financial reporting challenges. Prior to joining the KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, Matthew spent two years in KPMG’s audit practice serving clients in the asset management industry.

 

Matthew received a B.S in Accounting and a MAcc (Masters of Accounting) from the University of Kansas.
