Luke Velez

Luke is a Manager on the Shore Resource Team at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Luke’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Luke was a Manager at Deloitte in the M&A Transaction Services group, where he specialized in buy-side and sell-side diligence on middle market private equity-backed transactions. Earlier in his career, Luke was in Deloitte’s audit practice, serving a mix of large public and private equity-backed clients.

 

Luke holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University and is currently pursuing his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois and New York.
