Leif Buschmann

Leif is a member of the JD to C-Suite Program at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Leif’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to drive acquisition growth through various business development efforts, improve operational performance, and implement strategic initiatives. Leif is a member of the State Bar of Illinois.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Leif worked as an Associate in the corporate group at Massumi + Consoli LLP, where his legal practice focused on complex business transactions, including structuring and negotiating strategic and leveraged acquisitions and divestitures, as well as general corporate counseling and compliance. Prior to Massumi + Consoli, Leif practiced in the corporate group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Leif earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia, and his J.D. from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
