Lee Kaplan is a board member at Point C, a Shore Capital portfolio company. Lee began his career as a CPA working For Ernst and Whinney in Los Angeles. In 1985 he joined Enterprise Holdings, Inc. Enterprise operates Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, Enterprise Fleet Services, and Enterprise Truck Rental through a network of 9,600 corporate and franchised locations and over 2 million vehicles throughout the world. Over his 33-year career Lee held positions as Vice-President of Finance, Corporate Risk Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. While overseeing the Company’s Risk functions, Lee developed the self-retained risk portfolio for the world’s largest fleet including captive insurance companies, claims administration, and agency operations. Lee was also responsible for Government Relations, Legal, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Venture Capital, and Strategic Planning. Lee led acquisitions of fleet companies, technology companies, and adjacent businesses in excess of $2 billion. Enterprise also developed an active Corporate Venture fund in the emerging mobility sector. Lee attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds a BA in Business Economics and Accounting.
