Bio
Jim served as CEO of TekLinks, a large national managed service provider, backed by private equity firm Pamlico Capital. Pamlico recruited Jim in 2012 to serve as CEO and he remained in that role until their successful exit to a strategic, C-Spire (f.k.a. Cellular South) in 2018. TekLinks is a leading provider of technology solutions and managed services to businesses throughout Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Gulf South, and is one of the top MSP partners for Cisco, Dell EMC, Vmware, Microsoft, Veam, and Citrix. Prior to Teklinks, Jim served as CEO of Nuvox Communications from 2001 to 2010, a broadband and IT services provider that sold to strategic, Windstream Communications. His leadership experience also includes serving as CEO of Triton Cellular Partners from 1998 to 2001, a provider of wireless communications services. Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors of iVision, Ritter Communications, and Hook Security. iVision, is an enterprise-focused IT MSP backed by CIVC. Ritter Communications is a regional residential and business communications service provider. Hook Security, is a security awareness training company. Jim holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lafyette College and a M.S. in Engineering from University of Pennsylvania.
