Hunter Matthews

Hunter Matthews is a Manager of AI Solutions at Shore Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Hunter leads Shore’s efforts in identifying, developing, and implementing AI solutions that drive operational efficiency across the firm and its portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Shore, Hunter was a Manager at Funnel Leasing, a B2B SaaS company providing AI solutions for mid-market and enterprise property management companies. He oversaw the development, launch, and P&L for Funnel’s Voice AI leasing agent, built in partnership with Sierra AI, an industry leader in agentic AI. Earlier in his career, Hunter held strategy and analytics roles at Databook, an AI-powered sales intelligence platform, and Promontory Financial Group, an IBM Company.

Hunter received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
