Ellie Hupp

Ellie is a Manager at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Ellie’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.

 

Before joining Shore, Ellie was a manager at EY in Chicago within the Strategy & Transactions advisory practice. While at EY, Ellie provided buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence support to primarily private equity clients. Ellie provided support on transactions across industries, including third party logistics, consumer goods and services, and equipment manufacturing. Ellie’s responsibilities included providing insights to clients regarding a target company’s quality of earnings and net working capital and assisting with purchase agreement structure. Prior to joining EY’s Strategy & Transactions practice, Ellie spent two years in EY’s assurance practice serving public clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

 

Ellie received a B.S in Finance and Accounting and a MAcc (Masters of Accounting) from the University of Kansas.  Ellie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Illinois.
