Bio
Dr. Jay Price is the current CEO of Southern Veterinary Partners. A native of Phenix City, Alabama, Jay received his BS in Zoology at Auburn University and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and served as President of Alpha Psi veterinary medical fraternity.
Prior to forming SVP, Dr. Price owned Oak View Animal Hospital and Patton Chapel Animal Clinic – the original animal hospitals within Southern Veterinary Partners. His many duties at SVP + MVP keep him away from seeing patients at the veterinary hospitals, where his areas of interest included oncology, internal medicine, surgery, and dermatology. His focus these days is leading SVP + MVP’s chart-topping growth while prioritizing autonomy of each hospital.
