Dr. Corey Waller

Corey Waller is an Executive Advisor in Behavioral Health at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA.

 

Corey is an accomplished Addiction, Pain, and Emergency Medicine Specialist, currently working as the Editor-in-Chief of the ASAM Criteria, who previously worked as the Chief Medical Officer for Brightview Health. He has developed new approaches to treatment for complex patients within large organizations and, as a past Medical Staff Chief of Pain Medicine, can work within fully developed systems and, more importantly, knows how to use those systems to the patient’s advantage. Over the last five years, he has been able to work with a multitude of health systems, State Authorities, Managed Care Organizations, and Communities across the country to work toward developing entire ecosystems of care for addiction, behavioral health, and chronic pain patients. This, coupled with a strong background in both basic science and clinical research, has allowed him to gain expertise in treatment, payment, and the operational intricacies of the behavioral health system.
