Dan Wechsler

Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Southern Orthodontic Partners. In addition to serving on the Southern Orthodontics board, Dan is an Operating Partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson, and Stowe. Previously, Dan served as President and CEO of Smile Brands, a privately held dental service organization with ~$500 million in revenue, 4,500 employees (including 700 general and specialty dentists) and more than 360 offices. As President and CEO, Dan led the successful sale of the company to Gryphon Investors in 2016. In 2010, he joined Bausch + Lomb as Executive Vice President and Global President, Pharmaceuticals. Dan has also worked for Merck & Co., Schering-Plough, Pfizer Inc. and The Upjohn Company.

Dan holds a Master of Philosophy from University of Rochester, as well as a B.A. from the State University of New York at Brockport.
