Bio
Dan Nicholson is an entrepreneur and owner-operator with more than a decade of experience in the multi-site healthcare, education and business service industries. He currently serves as Managing Partner of a privately held investment holding and management company, DRB Capital. Dan is CEO of Opal Autism Centers, a portfolio company focused on early intervention autism services. Adjacently, he serves as Chairman/Managing Partner for College Living Experience, a post secondary wrap-around service with locations nationwide that help young adults with autism and other related disorders live independently, hold and maintain a career and succeed with support to graduate from a college program. Some of the other portfolio companies include a managed service provider company and a multistate k-12 school roll up.
Previously, Dan held numerous executive leadership roles including Founder, Managing Partner, CEO, and VP Strategy and Business Development for multiple regional autism service platforms. In 2017, he led Behavioral Innovations, an ABA autism therapy company that partnered with Shore Capital Partners to help expand quality ABA care across Texas and the Southwest. Dan also served as EVP for a national skilled nursing facility chain and co-founded a nationwide ancillary company that provided proactive care focused Physician Extender/Nurse Practitioner program models to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
He is a graduate of the University of Miami, FL with a degree in Business, Entrepreneurship and Healthcare Management and is a proud father of three boys.
