Bio
Dan is a Manager at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Dan’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.
Prior to joining Shore, Dan was a Manager at KPMG in Chicago within the Deal Advisory – Financial Due Diligence practice. While at KPMG, Dan specialized in providing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to middle-market private equity and corporate clients across multiple verticals including consumer & retail, industrials, life sciences, and business services. Dan’s main responsibilities included analyzing target company data to provide meaningful insights around quality of earnings, net working capital, and financial and operating trends.
Dan received both his M.S. and B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Illinois and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
