Charlie Talbot

Charlie has spent over 30 years leading organizations across healthcare and retail through significant growth cycles and successful exits. He is currently an Executive Partner with Shore and serves on several boards.  He is the Lead Independent Director for Skycrest Roof Co. and Comfort Temp Company and he serves on the Board of Insperience.  He is also active in mentoring portfolio executives across the Shore ecosystem, as well as members of Shore’s Portfolio Performance Group. 

Prior to his work with Shore, Charlie was the Chief Financial Officer at Tend, a rapidly growing DSO that has successfully reimagined the dental experience, with a focus on the patient. Prior to Tend, Charlie was the Chief Financial Officer at Athletico, an industry leading physical therapy platform that grew from 90 clinics to over 500 clinics during his time.

Prior to his time at Athletico, Charlie was a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Potbelly Sandwich Works, helping to grow the business across the country, culminating in a highly successful IPO. Earlier in his career, Charlie held additional finance and corporate development roles at Nuveen Investments, Yum! Brands, and Northern Trust.

Charlie has an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
