Cale Werder

Cale Werder serves as a Partner on the Search Fund at Shore Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. He is an active board member and advisor and provides operational support to portfolio companies.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Cale served as Chief Growth Officer at Mission Veterinary Partners from 2018–2024, where he helped scale the company from folding tables and chairs to a national leader with 8,000+ team members. During his tenure, the business completed 250+ acquisitions and grew from $30M to $1.2B in revenue. As Chief Growth Officer, Cale led M&A, organic growth, FP&A, and business intelligence.

Cale has 20 years of operating experience leading M&A, sales, marketing, operations, and data & analytics. Earlier in his career, he led organic growth for a Detroit-based manufacturer within the Dan Gilbert portfolio of companies, served as Vice President of Marketing for a global golf manufacturing leader, and spent eight years with New Balance and its subsidiaries in roles spanning operations, sales, marketing, and analytics.

 

Cale is a Michigan native and lives in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three daughters.
