Austin Johnson

Austin Johnson is the Director of Media Assets at Shore Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Austin’s responsibilities include overseeing media asset development and promotion for the Strategy and Talent Development team at Shore Capital Partners. This includes creating and promoting podcasts, educational content, and marketing materials, as well as enhancing media design and exploring innovative multimedia opportunities.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Austin served as the Senior Manager of Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives at Laserforce International. In this role, he developed and executed global strategies to enhance customer experiences, led R&D and product development initiatives, and optimized operational processes. He also played a crucial role in expanding the market presence of the North American office, managing key client relationships, and providing consulting services to improve business operations and staff development.

 

Additionally, Austin has entrepreneurial experience operating a social media consulting business, where he was responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, managing content creation, and optimizing online presence. This role provided him with valuable insights into brand management, audience building, and effective digital communication.

Austin received his B.A. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management where he concentrated in Finance, Operations, and Strategy.
