Alex Brown

Most recently, Alex Brown was the former CEO of cloud services firm 10th Magnitude. Alex is recognized as a thought leader in tech-driven business innovation and brings tech-enabled services experience by virtue of having run the largest pure-play Microsoft Azure services firm in the United States. Alex currently serves on the Board of Directors of Tenacity, Protera, and Hyde Park Angels. Tenacity offers a SaaS platform to continuously monitor and manage public cloud infrastructure and is based in Ann Arbor, MI. Protera, manages customers’ SAP systems in cloud environments and is based in Chicago, IL. Hyde Park Angels is one of the Midwest’s largest angel organizations and is also based in Chicago, IL. Prior to founding 10th Magnitude, Alex served as an EVP at ArrowStream, a SaaS company focused on improving supply chain management and as General Manager of Univa’s Data Center Division. Additionally, Alex spent approximately 12 years in various middle management roles at Dell and before that worked at Cole Systems Associates and KPMG. Alex holds a B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College and an M.B.A. from Yale University
